On the Shore

There was a huge amount going on in Yarmouth during the Festival.
Many of the shore based activities were free, including: Street Entertainers from Covent Garden; Marching Bands; Morris Dancers with Strolling Musicians and Bands on every corner. See the News page for the latest details of our shore-based attractions.

Large crowds enjoyed browsing the Market Stalls selling wares and produce from round the world, Farmers' Market and Many Local Crafts. Many people visited the New Pavillion on the green. There was a Funfair for the Children and Displays for all including the Veteran & Vintage Vehicles in the Big Boys Toys field and the RNLI Lifeboat with search & rescue helicopter display and open day.

Of course, all the local businesses in Yarmouth were open as usual including the Pier, the Church, the Castle, the Community Hall and the Harbour too.

For a full list of the activities, buy a Programme, which also included automatic entry into our fabulous Prize Draw! See Useful Info. to find out where to buy Tickets and Programmes.

In the Festival Marquee some great entertainment was planned.
There was also the popular Character Inns' Bar on the Quay with many real ales to enjoy and a new Pimms & Prosecco bar, as well as several food stalls. See the News page for the latest information about acts booked to date.
A full list of the bands and performers was published in the Programme available from early April, this included details of who was playing and when.
In the evenings (after 6:30 pm) access to the Marquee was by Ticket only, which cost just £10.

Please Note: no unaccompanied person under the age of 16 years will be admitted. However, adults may bring children (12 years and under) free of charge.

To guarantee entry, many people bought their tickets in advance. See Useful Info. to find out where to buy Tickets and Programmes.
